Job summary

HP IQ Connectivity is seeking an Software Engineering Intern to help develop on-device software and firmware for next‑generation HP IQ experiences. You will work with experienced engineers on wireless protocols, device discovery, and AI‑driven features across multiple devices and platforms.

You will contribute to testing, validation, and documentation of connectivity features while learning from a broad engineering team and participating in design discussions.

Qualifications

• Write on-device firmware and system software in C, C++, or Python for wireless connectivity.
• Design and implement device-to-device discovery and pairing protocols.
• Optimize ML inference on resource-constrained devices.
• Develop sensing algorithms using data and AI techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop on-device firmware and system software for connected device experiences.
• Build and enhance software supporting wireless connectivity across devices and platforms.
• Explore ML techniques to solve complex technical challenges.
• Debug and resolve issues across system software, wireless stack, and application-level code.
