Job summary

Legacy Professional Services in Ohio is seeking a Construction Manager—QC/Connectivity to lead QA/QC for connectivity and low‑voltage work on hyperscale data center projects. You will oversee field inspections, document testing, and ensure adherence to contract documents and owner quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Five+ years of experience in connectivity, telecommunications, low-voltage construction, quality control, or construction management.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling and fiber‑optic infrastructure.
• Experience reviewing drawings, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Experience with quality inspections and coordinating corrective actions.
• Familiarity with testing, labeling, turnover, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC activities for connectivity and low-voltage scopes across all construction phases.
• Perform and document field inspections of cabling, fiber, pathways, and racks.
• Verify work complies with contract documents, submittals, codes, and owner quality requirements.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and installation details.
• Coordinate with leadership, subs, commissioning teams, and client reps to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor installation quality: cable routing, labeling, termination, testing, and documentation.
• Witness inspections, fiber/copper testing, system validation, and turnover activities.
• Document deficiencies and verify corrective actions through completion.
• Maintain ITPs, inspection reports, deficiency logs, test results, turnover docs.
• Coordinate quality activities with electrical, mechanical, controls, security, and other systems.
