Job summary

Legacy Professional Services, LLC is seeking a Construction Manager - QC/Connectivity to oversee QA/QC for connectivity and low‑voltage infrastructure on hyperscale data center projects. You will work with project leadership, field teams, subcontractors, client representatives, and commissioning to ensure installations meet contract documents, specs, codes, and owner quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience in CM/engineering/telecom.
• 5+ years in connectivity, telecom, low-voltage construction, or CM.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling and fiber infrastructure.
• Experience reviewing drawings, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
• Experience quality inspections and coordinating corrective actions.
• Familiarity with testing, labeling, and turnover requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient with MS Office and Procore/Bluebeam.

The Opportunity

Legacy Professional Services is seeking a Construction Manager - QC/Connectivity to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities for connectivity and low-voltage infrastructure supporting hyperscale data center construction projects. In this role, you'll work closely with project leadership, superintendents, connectivity teams, commissioning teams, subcontractors, client representatives, and other project stakeholders to ensure connectivity installations are completed in accordance with contract documents, project specifications, approved submittals, applicable codes and standards, manufacturer requirements, and hyperscale owner quality expectations. Your focus will include structured cabling, fiber‑optic infrastructure, pathways and supports, telecommunications spaces, equipment installations, testing, documentation, and turnover. You'll help ensure connectivity systems are installed correctly, thoroughly inspected and tested, and ready to support commissioning and successful project turnover. This position is ideal for an experienced construction and quality professional with a strong understanding of connectivity infrastructure who thrives in fast-paced, mission‑critical environments.

What You’ll Do

• Lead QA/QC activities for connectivity and low-voltage scopes throughout all phases of construction.
• Perform and document field inspections of structured cabling, fiber‑optic infrastructure, pathways, supports, telecommunications spaces, racks, cabinets, and associated connectivity installations.
• Verify work complies with contract documents, approved submittals, manufacturer requirements, project specifications, applicable codes and standards, and owner quality requirements.
• Review connectivity drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, installation details, and testing requirements.
• Coordinate with project leadership, connectivity superintendents, subcontractors, commissioning teams, client representatives, and other trades to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Monitor installation quality and verify proper cable routing, labeling, termination, testing, documentation, and workmanship.
• Witness and document inspections, fiber and copper testing, system validation, commissioning activities, and other required quality checks.
• Identify and document deficiencies and nonconforming work, and verify corrective actions through completion.
• Maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspection reports, deficiency logs, test results, turnover documentation, and other quality records.
• Coordinate connectivity quality activities with electrical, mechanical, controls, security, and other building systems as required to support overall project integration.
• Utilize Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, Bluebeam, and other construction management platforms to manage quality documentation and reporting.
• Support project closeout by verifying connectivity systems are complete, tested, documented, commissioned as applicable, and ready for owner turnover.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Five or more years of experience in connectivity, telecommunications, low-voltage construction, quality control, field engineering, or construction management.
• Strong understanding of structured cabling, fiber‑optic infrastructure, pathways, telecommunications spaces, and connectivity installation practices.
• Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
• Experience performing quality inspections, managing deficiencies, and coordinating corrective actions.
• Familiarity with connectivity testing, documentation, labeling, and turnover requirements.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, and Bluebeam.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting hyperscale data center or other mission‑critical construction projects.
• Experience with structured cabling systems, fiber‑optic infrastructure, ISP/OSP systems, pathways, telecommunications rooms, racks, cabinets, and related connectivity infrastructure.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices, including BICSI and TIA standards.
• BICSI credentials such as RCDD, RTPM, or Technician certification.
• Experience with fiber and copper testing, inspection, documentation, and acceptance requirements.
• Experience supporting commissioning, integrated systems testing, and phased project turnover.
• Familiarity with hyperscale owner quality standards and mission‑critical construction environments.
• Experience coordinating connectivity scopes with electrical, controls, security, mechanical, and other building systems.
