Job summary
Omniscius is seeking an experienced Connectivity Engineer to design, implement, and sustain mission-critical enterprise networking infrastructure. You will work across WAN, CAN, DCN, NETSEC, and tactical networks to ensure secure, reliable connectivity for global operations.
The role emphasizes advanced troubleshooting, performance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with cybersecurity and systems teams to minimize downtime and maximize capacity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise network design, implementation, and support.
- Experience with WAN/LAN/CAN, DCN/DCI, and enterprise networking technologies.
- Experience with BGP/OSPF, VLANs, VRF, VSS, VPNs, NAT, and firewalls.
- Experience with DoD security standards and government networking.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and modernize enterprise network infrastructure.
- Engineer and sustain WAN, CAN, DCN/DCI, NETSEC, and tactical networks.
- Analyze performance, latency, throughput, and overall network health.
- Troubleshoot complex issues using analyzers and test equipment.
- Develop documentation, designs, CM artifacts, and implementation plans.
- Coordinate with systems engineers and mission partners for integration.
