Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) in Colorado Springs is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise networking infrastructure. The role requires hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure TACLANEs.

You will document events, diagrams, and maintain configurations while traveling for field support as needed. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in networking, a current TS/SCI clearance, and IAT Level II security credentials.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct networking experience.
• Establish Layer 1 connectivity between devices.
• Troubleshoot Layer 1 connections.
• Configure TACLANEs KG-175 series.
• Work with media converters.
• IAT Level II Security Certification (Security+ CE or GSEC or SSCP or CCNA-Security).
• Active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the integration of a proprietary cyber training network environment.
• Configure and support internal or external networks.
• Document network events and create network diagrams.
• Support the design, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, firewalls, and IDS/IPS devices.
• Maintain all systems, applications, security, and network configurations; troubleshoot performance and coordinate repairs.
• Travel as needed to support Field Service Engineer responsibilities.
