Job summary

Kriss Law Atlantic Closing & Escrow in Connecticut seeks an experienced Connecticut Real Estate Attorney to handle residential and commercial transactions with a focus on title review, closings, and CT law. You will support clients, lenders, agents, and internal teams with timely, accurate guidance.

The ideal candidate resides in CT, is admitted to the CT Bar, and has 3+ years in real estate practice, with strong communication and time management in a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut Bar license in good standing.
• Must reside in Connecticut.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in real estate law, conveyancing, or related practice area.
• Strong knowledge of Connecticut real estate law, title standards, recording requirements, and closing practices.
• Experience handling residential and/or commercial real estate transactions.
• Strong understanding of title examination and title clearance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong time management skills.
• Comfortable working in fast paced, technology driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle residential and commercial real estate transactions throughout Connecticut.
• Conduct and review title examinations and title commitments.
• Prepare and review title opinions and related closing documents.
• Represent buyers and sellers in real estate transactions.
• Advise clients regarding title issues, curative matters, and Connecticut Real Estate requirements.
• Review and prepare deed, settlement statements, closing documents, and other transaction related documents.
• Coordinate closings with clients, lenders, real estate agents, title professionals, and internal teams.
• Identify and resolve title and transaction issues efficiently.
• Provide knowledgeable and responsive legal guidance throughout the closing process.
• Maintain accurate and timely transaction documentation.
• Manage multiple transactions while meeting deadlines and client expectations.
• Serve as Connecticut counsel for real estate and conveyancing matters as needed.
