Job summary

Object Technology Solutions, Inc (OTSI) seeks a Connect Ambassador to welcome visitors, assess needs, and provide customer support within Client Connect spaces. You will greet customers, answer basic questions, manage traffic flow, assist with payments, and coordinate with the facility team on escalation and resolutions.

You will also support community engagement activities, help with event setup and teardown, and participate in workshops to educate customers about energy efficiency programs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year in customer services.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Major Responsibilities

• Responsibility 1
  • Help create a positive customer experiencethrough customer engagement and providing support to Client Connect staff
  • Approximately 65% of time spent on average over a one-year period
  • Greet customers and assess needs (20%)
  • Effectively answer basic questions (20%)
  • Manage human traffic flow within the space(15%)
  • Assist customers with payments.
  • Collaborate with the facility team onescalation-types and resolutions (15%)
  • Other duties as assigned to support customerservice needs (15%)

  • Help enhance effectiveness of communityengagement by supporting the team in community outreach endeavours
  • Approximately 35% of time spent on average over a one-year period
  • Provide assistance in event preparation andtear-down, with both internal and external stakeholders (20%)
  • Assist the team as required during extendedoutage situations (10%)
  • Help with the development of workshops/seminarsfor community and customer groups (25%)
  • Assist with opening/closing of the facility ondaily basis, ensuring systems shutdown and facility is secured (20%)
  • Assist with gathering data on effectiveness ofcommunity events as it relates to growing community partnerships and/orcustomer feedback (25%)
  • Provide customer education around Client’sportfolio of Energy Efficiency products and services in addition to processingenrollments for these programs when applicable.

Qualifications and Experience

• Position requires no less than high schooldiploma + Minimum 1-year experience working in customer services field;preferably in face-to-face service capacity.
• Demonstrated experience in working infast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in working with Microsoft OfficeSuite
