Job summary

Park Avenue Synagogue in New York seeks a creative and dynamic full-time Assistant Director for the Congregational School to support curriculum development, program planning, and educational initiatives. Responsibilities

• Oversee curriculum implementation and weekly lesson planning.
• Recruit, hire, manage, and supervise part-time Hebrew and Jewish educators.
• Develop lesson plans for weekly Congregational School classes and family holiday programming.
• Develop and manage family engagement opportunities for middle school students, including NYC field trips.
• Plan and implement High Holiday programming for 5th–7th grades.
• Collaborate with educators to identify and support students’ learning needs.
