The Brotherhood Synagogue in New York is seeking a warm Educational Programming Assistant to support our Hebrew School and family education programs. The Brotherhood Synagogue, located on Gramercy Park, is the largest Jewish congregation in downtown New York City with 800 households and approximately 150 children in the Hebrew school. It is an independent, progressive community following the Conservative tradition, honoring the spiritual and ethical heritage of the Jewish faith while celebrating the diverse commitment of its membership. Brotherhood offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere that supports a variety of synagogue activities, prayer, celebrations, education, adult classes, and community outreach programs.
