Gibson Dunn is seeking a Conflicts Supervisor to lead the conflicts team across our offices in Houston, New York, or Washington DC. You will supervise Coordinators and Analysts, oversee conflict checks, and escalate complex issues to attorneys, ensuring reports and research meet the firm’s standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the day-to-day activities of the Conflicts Coordinators and Conflicts Analysts.
• Providing guidance to the Conflicts team and managing team dynamics.
• Overseeing the conflict check process to ensure timely and accurate reports and research.
• Serving as the primary escalation point for the Conflicts Coordinators and Analysts.
• Reviewing and analyzing conflict reports; escalating complex issues to Attorneys and OGCF as needed.
• Monitoring and maintaining the quality and consistency of conflicts searches and reporting standards.
• Providing clear verbal and written feedback regarding any work quality deficiencies.
• Ensuring internal protocols and procedures are followed.
• Training Conflicts team new hires in processes and Intapp.
• Training assistants in submitting conflicts requests and lifecycle of the new matter intake process.
• Assisting with implementation and improvements of conflicts processes and procedures.
• Identifying and escalating personnel issues to the Manager, Intake/Conflicts.
• Handling administrative duties such as timecards, PTO, holidays, and reviews.
