Morrison Foerster is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to join the Conflicts/New Business team. The role supports multiple offices with duties to analyze conflicts, sanctions, and client relationships, using internal workflows to deliver clear reports to attorneys and staff.

The position requires at least one year in conflicts or a related law firm role, familiarity with Intapp Conflicts preferred, and strong Microsoft Office skills. Office locations include Seattle and several major U.S. offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of conflicts or legal assistant experience required.
• Intapp Conflicts experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft applications required.
• Ability to respond to requests with appropriate sense of urgency.
• Knowledge of conflicts of interest issues, laws and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Produce and review conflict reports and identify potential conflicts of interest and sanctions issues using the Firm’s conflicts software.
• Conduct factual research on client and parties to Firm matters using corporate structure and government sanctions lists to identify relationships and sanctions status.
• Research and update corporate family trees and retrieve waivers.
• Review new requests and return results using the Firm’s in-house workflow system.
• Independently analyze the report with limited guidance from Conflicts Coordinators.
• Submit the conflicts analysis results in Word via the electronic workflow system.
• Request creation of ethical walls upon request as appropriate.
• Promote and model the Firm's Client Service Principles in leadership.
