Job summary

Hire Options Inc. is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to join their Los Angeles office. You will perform conflict searches for prospective clients, matters, attorneys, and other professionals, and analyze results to prepare reports for resolution.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of conflicts administration experience within a mid-sized to large law firm.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database management.

Responsibilities

• Perform conflict searches for prospective clients, matters, attorneys, and other professionals.
• Analyze search results, prepare conflict reports, and escalate potential issues to attorneys, management, or GC for resolution.
• Review new matter submissions and support timely, accurate matter openings and ongoing lifecycle administration.
• Maintain conflict databases, client and matter records, outside counsel guidelines, and party information.
• Coordinate engagement and disengagement letters, file transfers, matter closures, and related documentation.
• Support records management and retention programs, including audits, document classification, archival, disposition, and compliance activities.
• Assist with data cleanup, remediation, system improvements, and information governance technology initiatives.
• Collaborate with attorneys, legal support staff, IT, and records management teams, and assist with training on intake, conflicts, and retention procedures.
