Avalore is seeking a Configuration Manager to implement and maintain CM processes for the Advana System software baseline. You will develop CM procedures, manage baselines, track configuration items, and ensure integrity and traceability across the lifecycle.
You will establish a CMDB, enforce version control, manage change control, and conduct audits to align documentation with configurations. Role requires SECRET clearance, US work authorization, and a Bachelor's degree.
The Configuration Manager will implement and maintain a rigorous configuration management process for the entire Advana System software baseline. This person will develop and implement CM procedures in accordance with government guidance, manage software baselines, control changes to the software, and track all configuration items to ensure the integrity and traceability of the software baseline throughout its lifecycle. This person will establish and maintain a configuration management database (CMDB), implement version control practices for all configuration items, and manage the change control process including change requests, approvals, and implementation. This person will conduct configuration audits to ensure consistency between documentation and actual configurations, create and maintain configuration status accounting reports, and establish baselines at key project milestones. This person will implement tools and processes for configuration identification, control, status accounting, and audit, collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure CM process adherence, and develop and maintain CM documentation including the Configuration Management Plan. This person will provide CM metrics and reports to program management, train team members on CM processes and tools, and continuously improve CM practices based on lessons learned.
