Job summary

L3 Harris is seeking an experienced Configuration Manager to lead configuration management activities, manage CMDB records, and update build processes using Jenkins. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure CM practices align with program needs and DevOps principles.

The role requires strong experience with CM, CMDB data management, and Jenkins, with onsite work and up to 10% travel. A public trust clearance is required or obtainable, and the project duration is 12+ months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with minimum 6 years of related experience or equivalent
• Graduate degree with 4 years of related experience or equivalent
• In lieu of a degree, minimum 10 years of related experience

Responsibilities

• Review the CMDB for software, site and hardware updates.
• Move software records through the baseline process.
• Update CMDB data (JavaScript development).
• Account setup and management in the CMDB.
• Update/create new Jenkins build jobs.
• Assist with updates to hardware records.
• Familiarity with requirements tools.
• Provide data for metrics reporting.
• Develop documentation for new procedures, training plans, and reports.
• Leverage DevOps concepts and best practices to support the program. Onsite work
