Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a TS/SCI-cleared Configuration Manager to support a Linux-based environment at Patrick Space Force Base. You will lead configuration management, maintain baselines and traceability, and collaborate across software and infrastructure teams to ensure proper documentation and deployment.

Experience with GitLab, Atlassian tools, and AWS is required, with security certification readiness. Periodic travel to Melbourne, FL may be requested as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Graduate degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance or Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
• Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain Configuration Management processes for mission software, algorithms, infrastructure, and related artifacts throughout their lifecycle.
• Establish and control software baselines, versioning, traceability, and configuration status.
• Coordinate deliveries into Development Test, Operational Test, and deployment environments.
• Develop DT/OT governance, including criteria, readiness, tracking, and releases.
• Maintain authoritative configuration records for software versions, algorithms, and components.
• Manage sensor onboarding, prerequisites, interfaces, and readiness.
• Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, testers, mission leads, and government customers.
• Facilitate Configuration Control Boards, release readiness reviews, and deployment decisions.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, releases, revisions, sensors, tests, and deployments.
• Use GitLab, Atlassian tools, and automation to manage records and workflows.
