Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst II to join a cross-functional team. You will create, review, and process CM documentation and PLM changes such as ECOs, ECRs, and Deviation cases for release, ensuring CM processes are followed.

Responsibilities include reviewing PLM changes for accuracy, coordinating with multiple functions to release changes, and training others on CM practices while maintaining schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Industry-recognized configuration management certification (CCDS, CMII, CMPIC, etc.).
• 3–5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Familiarity with ANSI-EIA-649.
• Familiarity with at least one PLM system (Fusion, Agile, Arena, Windchill, etc.).
• Demonstrates general comprehension of how to review and understand program/project documentation.
• Proficient in data systems and MS Office Suite products.
• Takes ownership and responsibility for current and past work products.
• Exhibits excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviews PLM Changes for accuracy and helps to incorporate changes; shepherds PLM changes through to release.
• Reviews all documentation submitted for release; coordinates with other functions to release PLM Changes.
• Reads and understands BOMs, product definitions, test and manufacturing information.
• Trains others on CM processes and cross-functional responsibilities.
• Works under general instructions; prioritizes workload effectively and meets schedules.
