Job summary

Leidos seeks a Configuration Management Specialist to support the National Digital Exploitation & OSINT Center (NDOC) on-site at the Intelligence Community Campus in Bethesda, MD. This role establishes and maintains CM processes across the lifecycle, coordinating with engineering, development, logistics, and Government teams to ensure baselines, change control, and documentation are complete and auditable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 6+ years of CM experience preferred.
• Experience in large or government environments with configuration management across lifecycle.
• Experience with CM plans, policies, SOPs, and process improvements; familiarity with automated CM tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain CM plans, policies, procedures, standards, and baselines across system lifecycles.
• Manage configuration items and change control, evaluate changes, coordinate reviews, document decisions, update baselines.
• Conduct configuration audits and baseline assessments for accuracy and integrity of configurations and documentation.
• Recommend and implement automated CM tools, version control solutions, and centralized repositories.
• Coordinate COTS/GOTS software releases, technical engagements, and CM activities across teams.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and change logs.
• Develop and maintain IPAM system with technical teams when required.
• Identify and mitigate CM risks; develop reports, metrics, and briefings; drive improvements.
• Provide training and mentoring on CM processes and tools, coordinating priorities across teams.
