Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners seeks a Configuration Manager to establish and maintain robust CM processes across hardware and software lifecycles. You will enforce baselines, manage changes, and ensure traceability for critical programs.

You will use DOORS and Eclipse to store artifacts, support audits, and coordinate with development and test teams to maintain configuration integrity across all phases.

Qualifications

• Six years of CM and version control experience on programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related discipline or four additional years of CM experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience implementing and managing hardware and software CM baselines and version control systems.
• For developmental programs, at least one year using Git, SVN, or equivalent tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce hardware and software CM policies and processes.
• Establish and control baselines with accurate versioning and traceability of CIs.
• Manage end-to-end configuration control including change tracking and approvals.
• Use CM tools (e.g., DOORS, Eclipse) to store and manage configuration artifacts.
• Support build, integration, test, and release environments while maintaining CM integrity.
• Develop CM processes including automated build and release procedures.
• Conduct configuration audits and support Change Control Board activities.
