Job summary

Impact ES in Clearwater, FL seeks a Configuration Management Specialist to ensure the accuracy and integrity of product configuration data across engineering and manufacturing. You will analyze ECOs, maintain BOMs, and serve as the liaison between engineering, program management, procurement, and manufacturing on configuration matters.

Responsibilities include processing ECOs, updating ERP/MRP with changes, and preserving traceability of configurations from customer data packages to as-built

Qualifications

• U.S. Person per ITAR requirement; access to controlled data.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination.
• 3–5 years in configuration management or related role.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and change documentation.
• Working knowledge of BOM structure and ERP/MRP systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication across functions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing drawings and data packages to assess production impact of changes.
• Prepare, process, and track Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Implement approved changes to BOMs including revisions and effectivity.
• Enter configuration changes into ERP/MRP and verify against released docs.
• Maintain baselines and change history with traceability.
• Coordinate with engineering, program management, procurement, and manufacturing.
• Prepare and distribute reports on change/configuration processes.
