Job summary

Impact ES in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to own the accuracy and integrity of product configuration data across engineering and manufacturing, manage ECOs, BOMs, and documentation in the ERP/MRP system.

You will liaise with engineering, program management, procurement/planning, and manufacturing to communicate change status and confirm downstream impacts, ensuring traceability.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing drawings, specifications, and TDPs to assess production impact of changes.
• Prepare, process, and track Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Implement approved changes to BOMs, including structure, part numbers, revisions, and effective dates.
• Enter configuration changes into ERP/MRP and verify against released docs for accuracy.
• Maintain configuration baselines and change history with traceability.
• Review part specs for accuracy and compliance with requirements.
• Train and support other users on ECO workflows and CM processes.
• Coordinate with program management, procurement, engineering, and manufacturing to communicate change status and impacts.
• Prepare and distribute reports on change and configuration processes.
