Contract Professionals, Inc. (CPI) in Sterling Heights, MI, seeks a Configuration Management Change Specialist to manage engineering change processes, maintain configuration records, and collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams.

You will ensure compliance with industry standards while supporting procurement and manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include processing ECPs/COs, ECO packages, and ERR deliveries, ensuring data accuracy, and driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in change management or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Manage the change control process for ECPs, RFVs, PRs, CRs, and COs.
• Review and process problem reports, ensuring accurate documentation and change request preparation.
• Prepare ECO packages and ERR deliveries for customers.
• Create and process Change Requests and Change Orders with accurate data entry.
• Review configuration data for compliance with workflow requirements and release standards.
• Track Change Orders through approval and completion to minimize errors and delays.
• Maintain CSA records and as-designed product information.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement configuration management per EIA-649.
• Support CM activities, update training materials, and contribute to continuous improvement.
