Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a skilled Configuration Management professional to oversee data and change control across programs. You will lead preparation of change records, coordinate with engineering and manufacturing, and ensure compliance with CM policies.

The role requires expanding responsibilities in reviewing engineering changes and supporting audits, with emphasis on MBSE and CAD data integrity, while maintaining a TS/SCI clearance. This position is full-time at a U.S. location.

Qualifications

  • Experience with change control processes and assessing impact on the product and system.
  • Proficient in configuration management on complex systems and lifecycle phases.
  • Experience establishing efficient and compliant processes for programs.
  • Experience with PTC Windchill or EPDM systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office for data reports.
  • U.S. citizenship and active TS/SCI security clearance.

  • Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with Engineering, Quality, Support, Manufacturing, and data control activities.

In This Role You Will
  • Perform and oversee configuration and data management processes to control aspects of program(s) execution and report metrics
  • Analyze proposed changes of product design or requirements to determine the effect on the overall product and system

Other Tasks You May Perform Include
  • Handling Contract Deliverable Requirement List (CDRL) schedules, deliveries and verification in accordance with contract requirements and schedules
  • Maintaining program access control for Configuration & Data Management (C&DM) systems/tools
  • Preparing data for archival and maintain archive records for retrieval as required
  • Maintaining a document number system and providing document numbers as required
  • Handling the review and retention of supplier data
  • Conducting the configuration of supplier Statement of Work (SOW)/SDRL
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience with change control processes and analyzing proposed changes to determine effect on overall product and system including identifying potentially impacted subsystems
  • Proficient in Configuration Management skills on sophisticated systems including two or more of the following: Engineering Release Processes, Product Identification, Baseline Change Control, Status Accounting, Verification/Audit
  • Experience in establishing and executing processes for efficiency and compliance for different lifecycle phases of a program
  • Experienced with PTC Windchill software or other Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) systems
  • Adept in Microsoft Office applications, including generating, compiling and analyzing data reports
  • U.S. citizenship and active TS/SCI security clearance
Desired Skills
  • Experience with Contract Deliverable Requirement List (CDRL), managing deliverable schedules and performing deliveries to the customer
  • Familiarity with Government contracts or subcontract management
  • Experience coordinating and facilitating meetings, including setting meeting agendas, capturing actions and distributing meeting minutes.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Hardware Acceptance reviews and Physical Configuration Audits, , As-Designed/As-Built, Verification/Audit
  • Bachelors in Engineering or similar field
  • Experience working with or reviewing design drawings, CAD models or engineering documentation
  • Knowledge of Model Base Systems Engineering (MBSE), or CAMEO for System Architecture Modeling
  • Demonstrated ability to design, modify and optimize processes for integration of AI technologies

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $81500.00 - $151300.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
