Job summary

MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. is seeking a Configuration Analyst to support client configuration of benefits, pharmacy and formulary. You will handle intake, design, configuration and in-unit testing of change requests for assigned clients, ensuring on-time delivery and quality results.

The role requires BS/BA and 1+ years’ experience, with intermediate MS Office skills and ability to run SQL queries. Pharmacy license or national cert is preferred; on-site San Diego HQ with potential remote

Qualifications

• BS/BA and 1+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office / Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Excel; ability to run SQL queries and script load.
• Pharmacy Technician License or National Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Applies pharmacy, formulary, and benefit configuration to effectuate change as specified in submitted change requests.
• Ensures assigned due dates for submitted change requests are met.
• Performs all workflow activities (preassessment, design, configuration and in-unit testing of Level 1 and 2 tasks).
• Acquire understanding of MedImpact system logic for claims adjudication and ensure proposed design satisfies the solution.
• Troubleshoot basic to moderately complex claims processing issues and respond to service failures; escalate as needed.
