Job summary

MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. seeks a Formulary Administration Specialist I to participate in PBM plan design and validation. You will ensure accurate coding in formulary systems and provide solid client support on formulary changes.

This role covers drug update reviews, client communications, and claims analysis, with on-site San Diego location and potential remote options with management approval.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with relevant healthcare or PBM exposure.
• Minimum 2+ years' experience in pharmacy benefit management or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design/validate formulary management plans and support external clients.
• Review and update drug rules and formulary files for pharmacist review.
• Respond to client inquiries; escalate complex issues to management.
• Draft client communications and templates; clarify roles between MedImpact and clients.
• Provide claims analysis support and gain understanding of PBM operations.
