Job summary

SAIC in San Diego, CA seeks a Configuration Management Analyst (Secret clearance) to support PMW 110 CM baselines using CMPRO. The role involves data gathering, CMPRO maintenance, and baseline establishment across hardware and software.

You will work with NIWC and government personnel, manage CM data, and deliver CSA updates and training as required. Local candidates only, with remote work potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information System, or Information Technology with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in performing Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting, and Configuration Audits.
• U.S. Citizenship and Active Secret Clearance to start.

Responsibilities

• Support the government's CM program and assist the lead CMS in developing, reviewing and maintaining the PLM Tool CMPRO.
• Assist the lead CMS with product structure/configuration hierarchy definition and maintaining configuration baselines (Functional, Allocated, Product, As-Installed).
• Manage user accounts within CMPRO.
• Coordinate with NIWC Network Administrators to resolve system/network problems and provide updates/bug fixes to CM implementation.
• Test and integrate vendor application updates prior to installation in Production.
• Reviewing, updating and providing CM process training to contractor and government personnel as required.
• Establish complete baselines for hardware and software and display the information via the CM data repository.
• Support the government's Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) process and procedures.
• Provide weekly status updates and Monthly Activity Reports.

The Configuration Management Analyst for Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I), PMW 110 will be responsible for supporting PMW 110 programs production baselines through database administration utilizing the Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) Tool CMPRO in support of the CM implementation to support software baselines. Working across multiple business process areas, the Analyst will gather, analyze, and verify data on existing enterprise platforms, locations, hardware, software and documentation for entry into the configuration management system (CMPRO) for the establishment or update of baselines in accordance with PMW 110 Configuration Management Plan (CMP).

Job Duties

• Test and integrate vendor application updates prior to installation/implementation in the Production instance
• Reviewing, updating and providing CM process training to contractor and government personnel as required
• Establishing complete baselines for hardware and software and displaying the information via the CM data repository
• Supporting the government's Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) process and procedures
• Providing weekly status updates and Monthly Activity Reports

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information System, or Information Technology and two (2) years or more relative experience
• Experience in performing Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting, Configuration Audits.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must have an Active Secret Clearance to start

Desired Skills

• Software Configuration Management experience is a plus
• Database Administration experience is a plus
• Prior experience with PMW 160 or other NAVWAR organizations
• Familiar with the use of CMPRO, JIRA, Confluence
• CMPIC certification is a plus

Target salary range $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
