Job summary

SCCI is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst I/II to support the CSS Program on-site in Dahlgren, VA. The role focuses on CM planning, identification, control, status accounting, audits, and data management, with responsibilities including MSR creation, IPR prep, and document review.

Qualifications include U.S. citizenship, an active Secret clearance, and 3–5 years of DoD CM experience. Proficiency with MS Office and collaboration across teams is required.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active Secret Security Clearance.
  • High school diploma.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of CM principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Three (3) - Five (5) years of previous DoD CM experience.
  • Highly proficient with MS Office tools, primarily MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all organizational levels to include co-workers, managers, government customers, and program sponsors.
  • Ability to multi-task, work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Self-starter with strong technical skills and attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy.
  • Ability to write clear, logically sequenced, and grammatically correct documents.
  • Excellent oral communication skills; must possess ability and willingness to present technical material to Navy leadership at the 0-6 Flag/SES level (department heads, program office, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Perform Configuration Management/Data Management functions: Planning, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Status Accounting, Audits, and Data Management
  • Perform meeting secretariat functions: Generate agendas, distribute artifacts for review, track/consolidate comments, accurately capture/distribute highlights/minutes and track action items
  • Review/update plans, processes, and procedures associated with the CM functional areas (i.e., Configuration Planning, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting, Audits, and Data Management)
  • Participate in technical reviews, integrated product teams, and working groups representing CM efforts
  • Enter and maintain data records and perform database management
  • Track documents/changes through a technical review process and consolidate comments for adjudication meetings
  • Maintain file repositories and workflows in online repositories (such as iPDM, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Ensure the quality and timeliness of all CDRLs
  • Generate the Monthly Status Report (MSR) and prepare/present In-Process Review (IPR) presentations
  • Perform Quality Assurance of configuration data to ensure accuracy
  • Develop and maintain detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and processes for all work performed on task

Overview

SCCI is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst I/II to join our team! In this position you will support the Combat System Simulations (CSS) Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for board support, data entry and status accounting of CM related data. This role will assess the state of existing plans, process, and procedures associated with CM tools in the areas of CM Planning, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting, and Audits. This is an on-site position located in Dahlgren, VA.
