Job summary

Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Louisville-area is seeking a Conference Affairs Coordinator to design, coordinate, and implement strategic initiatives for parish-based Conferences. You will lead volunteer recruitment, spiritual formation, and event planning while ensuring compliance with national standards.

The role emphasizes data-informed strategies, relationship building, and fostering Vincentian spirituality through service to neighbors in need.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Five or more years of nonprofit, ministry, volunteer management, community engagement, or program leadership experience.
• Valid driver's license and proof of personal automobile insurance are required.
• Successfully pass any required pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison to Louisville-area Conferences and Conference leadership.
• Recruit, develop, and support Conference Presidents and district leaders.
• Support formation and growth of Conferences.
• Cultivate relationships with pastors, parishes, schools, and Catholic organizations.
• Represent St. Vincent de Paul within the Catholic community.
• Recruit, engage, recognize, and retain Vincentian volunteers.
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate trainings, orientations, retreats, and leadership meetings.
• Coordinate communications and volunteer recognition initiatives.
• Coordinate Masses, Feast Day celebrations, and Conference events.
• Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and safeguarding standards.
• Manage conference records, vouchers, and performance metrics.
• Develop metrics to evaluate effectiveness and engagement.
• Partner with internal departments to strengthen operations and mission.
• Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
