Job summary

Ferrara is seeking a production technician to operate pilot plant equipment, maintain a clean sanitary environment, and support safe, efficient operation of equipment and processes. The role requires participation in cross-functional initiatives and adherence to GMP and safety regulations.

The position emphasizes practical hands-on work, collaboration with R&D and QA teams, and a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of GMPs in food processing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate pilot plant equipment and maintain sanitary production environment.
• Support safe and efficient operation of equipment and processes.
• Perform preventive maintenance and trials on pilot scale equipment.
• Follow SSOP, CIP and COP procedures.
• Maintain inventory records and organize supplies.
