Job summary

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of operational/manufacturing experience required.
  • Experience with complex manufacturing systems (roasters, evaporators, centrifuges, aroma recovery) preferred.
  • Experience with thermal and aseptic processing equipment preferred.
  • Experience with safety systems (rupture discs and safety valves) preferred.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (may exceed with assistance).

Responsibilities

  • Set up, start up, operate, clean, and shut down food processing equipment.
  • Execute equipment changeovers successfully.
  • Perform mechanical repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting.
  • Document trial data and summarize results.
  • Analyze data from test results and process controls to troubleshoot deviations.
  • Support pilot plant trial preparation, execution, and follow-up.
  • Follow SOPs and maintain a sanitary, safe work area.
