Job summary

Ferrara is seeking a devoted Process Engineer to organize, execute, and lead process development for the sugar confectionery portfolio in the Chicagoland area. You will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Engineering to drive successful product innovation from bench to production.

You will translate concepts into actionable plans, lead equipment qualification, and support international product expansion.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a CPG R&D or Manufacturing role, confectionary experience a plus.
• Based in the Chicagoland area with willingness to travel 5–40%.
• Valid driving license required.
• Availability to travel as necessary to support manufacturing line trials.

Responsibilities

• Lead process development and implementation activities for the sugar confections portfolio.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Packaging to plan, scale up, and execute new product innovations.
• Translate marketing concepts into actionable engineering/commissioning plans for Operations and Engineering teams.
• Lead qualification of equipment installs in production environments and document results.
