Job summary

Beitzel Corporation is seeking a skilled Conduit Mechanic to join our Electrical Services team. This hands-on role covers laying out, bending, and installing raceway across power generation, manufacturing, and energy projects, with travel and extended hours as project needs dictate.

You will pull and terminate conductors, troubleshoot to the source, and support learning through licenses or certifications as you advance. Our ESOP-friendly environment rewards hands-on growth and safety.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrical license in any state preferred.
• 2+ years of electrical experience required.
• Three or more years of industrial or commercial conduit installation.
• Real bender proficiency and conduit math knowledge

Responsibilities

• Lay out, cut, ream, thread and install rigid, IMC, EMT, aluminum, PVC-coated and PVC raceway.
• Accurately bend conduit by hand and with mechanical, hydraulic and electric benders.
• Fabricate and hang conduit banks, supports to NEC requirements.
• Pull, tag and terminate conductors and land in panels, MCCs, motors and enclosures.
• Troubleshoot electrical installations to source until resolved.
• Work from drawings and schedules; mark up as-builts for turnover.

Position Overview

Beitzel Corporation is seeking a skilled and dependable Conduit Mechanicto join our growing Electrical Services team. This is hands‑on electrical work on industrial and construction projects across power generation, manufacturing, oil and gas, aggregate, coal, solar and wind. Conduit is the heart of it — laying out, bending, racking and installing raceway — but you will see the job through: pulling and terminating conductors, and troubleshooting to the source when a circuit does not come up. If you can hang a straight bank of rigid, make the concentrics match, and land a clean termination, we want to talk to you.

In addition to technical work, we value electricians who are looking to continue learning and expanding their credentials. If you’re interested in pursuing additional licenses or certifications, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

This position does require a flexible schedule, with the expectation of frequent travel and out‑of‑town assignments. You should be prepared for extended hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional night shifts, depending on project needs.

What You’ll Do

• Lay out, cut, ream, thread and install rigid, IMC, EMT, aluminum, PVC‑coated and PVC raceway
• Accurately bend conduit — offsets, kicks, saddles, segmented and concentric bends, rolling offsets — by hand and with mechanical, hydraulic and electric benders
• Fabricate and hang racked conduit banks, strut, trapeze and hanger supports to NEC support, fill and radius requirements
• Pull, tag and terminate conductors — set the tuggers, sheaves and lube, then land it clean in panels, MCCs, motors and enclosures
• Troubleshoot electrical installations and follow a problem to the source until it is solved
• Work from drawings, conduit and cable schedules and isometrics, and mark up as‑builts for turnover

What You’ll Bring

• Journeyman Electrical license in any state preferred
• 2+ years’ of electrical experience required
• Three or more years of industrial or commercial conduit installation
• Real bender proficiency and the conduit math behind it — take‑up, gain, shrink, multipliers, developed length
