Job summary

Sonepar USA Inc in Irving, TX is seeking a Conduit Associate to support warehouse operations. The role involves measuring and cutting wire/cable, moving stock, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining accurate lot records. Compliance with safety standards and SOPs is essential.

Ideal candidates have basic math and literacy skills, and forklift certification is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for growth within the distribution network.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of related experience and/or training is preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required
• Forklift certification a plus
• Manual agility required for operating machinery and handling small parts
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut wire/cable with accuracy
• Fill out lot cards accurately
• Quality control to ensure no damaged product is sent out or brought in
• Verify equipment is in safe working condition and calibrated as needed
• Verify and package product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Stage product for loading
• Load and unload product from trucks
• Move wire/cable to warehouse rack storage and move waste to dumpsters when needed
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) including stand up, reach truck, order picker and sit-down propane forklift
• Complete daily logs for PIT
• Clean and maintain a safe working area
• Operate within SOPs and OSHA safety standards
• Other duties as assigned

• Fill out lot cards accurately (Basic addition and subtraction skills are required)
• Responsible for quality control to make sure no damaged product is sent out or brought in
• Verify all equipment is in safe working condition and calibrated as needed
• Verify and package product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Stage product for loading
• Load and unload product from trucks
• Move wire/cable to warehouse rack storage and move waste to dumpsters when needed
