Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Security Manager to ensure top-level service and security for residents and staff. You will understand emergencies, operate security control systems, and develop safety programs for the condominium association.

You will supervise Security staff, attend investigations, and coordinate with outside agencies to maintain a safe environment. You will oversee daily security operations, implement procedural changes, manage budgets, and maintain records while

Qualifications

• Must have or complete CLSS (AHLA) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must have a valid Security D License.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience managing security staff in luxury hotel/resort/condo settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Security staff and short-term planning.
• Develop and implement safety, security, and emergency plans.
• Monitor and control access to the property and operate electronic security systems.
• Coordinate investigations with local and federal agencies as needed.
• Maintain logs, records, and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Train staff on safety, security, and radio etiquette.
• Prepare bi-weekly staff schedules and manage shift coverage.
• Manage the security budget to meet financial goals.
