Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. in Florida seeks a General Manager to oversee all operations and facilities management at a condominium property off McGregor in Gulf Harbor.

You will lead the management team to deliver exceptional service and ensure staff performance aligned with financial goals. The role involves keeping records, presenting financial reports, and coordinating with the board and staff to support community directives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's or Business Degree preferred.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in related management (facilities management such as hotel, resort, rental or condo).
• Strong maintenance & project oversight experience required.
• Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people.
• Ability to organize and coordinate multiple priorities; be a team leader; problem-solve.
• Proven ability in human resources/personnel management.
• High rise property management preferred.
• Strong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.
• Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, and web search engines.
• Knowledge of Enumerate/Tops accounting software preferred.
• Ability to present financial reports such as P&L, Variance to Budget, Balance Sheet, AR, AP, Bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop daily operations.
• Schedule, supervise, and participate in unit operational duties.
• Recruit, supervise, train, schedule, discipline, review, and direct unit management and staff.
• Maintain accounting records, client reporting requirements, vendor expense control and negotiating contracts.
• Manage P&L statements, variance explanations to budget.
• Respond to client inquiries and resolve client complaints.
• Maintain official records as outlined in Florida Statute.
• Attend board and committee meetings and provide management reports.
• Keep records and minutes of board/committee meetings.
• Assist leadership development through committees and provide admin tools for board decisions.
• Assist board decisions by information gathering, fact finding, and implementing board decisions.
• Maintain safe facility environment including maintenance and housekeeping standards.
• Notify District Manager of unusual events or safety/quality issues.
• Represent the company professionally with clients, guests, staff, and vendors.
