Job summary

Samoset Resort in Rockport, ME is seeking a friendly House Attendant to join our housekeeping team. You will support Room Attendants, maintain room cleanliness, and help ensure a welcoming guest experience. This role offers benefits such as health and life insurance, a 401(k), and resort discounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is a plus but not required.
• Previous hospitality experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of rooms, hallways, and other areas of the hotel
• Supporting Room Attendants with their routine by stripping beds, removing & replacing linen, emptying wastebaskets, stocking supplies, etc
• Transport linen carts with clean laundry from laundry room to storage room of each floor
• Clean and organize items stored in laundry room, supply/storage closets, linen room, and/or uniform room
• Identify and report preventative maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
