Job Description:

Primary Responsibility

Under the general supervision of a designated supervisor, theConcurrent Enrollment Program Coordinator supports the ConcurrentEnrollment program in their local district. The primary role is tosupport the partnership between the local school districts(LEPs/Local Education Providers) and CMC campuses, buildrelationships with school district personnel, coordinate allaspects of the Concurrent Enrollment program between the LEPs andCMC, identify concurrent enrollment opportunities for students, andcoordinate enrollment, testing, and related duties.

Pre-requisites for Position (Qualifications Standards)

Education and experience necessary to meet the rigors of theposition. Examples may include a Bachelor’s Degree and two yearsrelated experience, or equivalent education and experience thatwill provide the necessary knowledge, skill and abilities toperform the functions of the position.

Special skills or abilities which are directly applicable to theposition:

basic technology applications; ability to workcollaboratively with internal and external parties; experience withorganizing and coordinating events; strong written, verbal, andpresentation skills; computer skills and proficiency with commonsoftware such as Microsoft Office. Knowledge of procedures andequipment, current office practices, concurrent enrollmentprograms, placement procedures and requirements, LEP and collegeoperations designed, familiarity with academic, transfers andcareer advising.

Hiring range = $68,494.40 - $76,107.20 ($32.93 - $36.59 hourly)annual salary depending upon a combination of education andexperience. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, LifeInsurance, Pet insurance, retirement contribution, tuitionreimbursement, annual & sick time, mental health resources,healthy lifestyle benefits, affordable transitional housing may beavailable to the successful candidate based on eligibility andavailability, relocation if applicable. CMC utilizes a wageprogression compensation model that accounts for a candidate’sskill and experience. Although a salary range is listed, salarywill be set commensurate with the successful candidate’squalifications and in compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal WorkAct.

Minimum Qualifications:
Essential Duties
  • Build and maintain relationships with school districtpersonnel.
  • Serve as liaison between CMC campus and school districts.
  • Educate and promote Concurrent Enrollment and ASCENT programsand courses to students, including orientations, high schoolregistration events, presentations, small and individual meetings,and related events.
  • Provide comprehensive support in partnership with LEPs and CMCcampus for all Concurrent Enrollment activities, includingadmissions, coordinating placement testing, registration, schedulechanges, and administrative duties applicable to ConcurrentEnrollment.
  • Educate and guide students to additional student resources,such as tutoring, mental health counseling, accessibility services,career advising and transfer processes, multi-media/libraryservices, testing, and communication in regard to CAREreports.
  • Manage entire Concurrent Enrollment student workflow and lifecycle: recruit students in collaboration with LEPs, applicationsupport, advising, registration, sponsored billing coordinationbetween LEP and CMC accounts, data management, entry, and reportingof final grades.
  • Interpret placement assessments.
  • Understand Colorado Department of Higher Education (CDHE) statepolicies, initiatives, grants, and programs regarding ConcurrentEnrollment.
  • Coordinate with CMC Accounts Manager on financial and orbilling matters.
  • Coordinate with Colorado Mountain College Registrar Office onfinal grades reports and transcripts
  • Provide comprehensive academic support to students.
  • Communicate with Assistant Deans of Instruction and facultyregarding current and future course offerings and the developmentand implementation of academic pathways aligned to CMC certificate,degree, and transfer programs.
  • Participate in campus and college-wide shared governancegroups, task forces, and initiatives when necessary orrelevant.
  • Programs all Concurrent Enrollment section building into thecollege software and coordinate Concurrent Enrollment studentenrollment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Supervision Received

This position reports to a designated campus administrator.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not supervise staff but may at times serve in alead role in areas of expertise.

Special Conditions of Employment

Successful completion of a background check will be required aswell as a motor vehicles records report. Incumbents in thisposition will adhere to all safety and compliance policies ofColorado Mountain College while performing all duties assigned.

This position will be expected to travel within the designatedservice area to serve local school districts as well as within theCMC district/service area.

Working Conditions

This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking,standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling;frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements;occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 25lbs; ordinary talking, hearing and full vision capabilities; and the ability to read/comprehend. Write,communicate orally, reason and analyze constantly; and performcalculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer andstandard office equipment daily and driving a vehicleoccasionally.
