Colorado Mountain College in Rifle, Colorado seeks a Senior Enrollment Services Specialist to assist with recruiting activities and pre-enrollment follow-up of students. This role represents the college at campus and off-campus events, answering inquiries and guiding applicants and current students.

Primary Responsibility
Under the general supervision of a designated leader, the SeniorEnrollment Services Specialist assists with the recruiting activities and pre-enrollment follow-up of students. This positionrepresents Colorado Mountain College at their campus and at offcampus events. This position interacts with student inquires,applicants and current students.
The Senior Enrollment Services Specialist also applies knowledge ofprograms, procedures, and policies to provide administrativesupport and assistance in a student services function (e.g.registrar, student records, admissions, residence life, andfinancial aid). Assist current and prospective students and parentswith a variety of inquiries and topics.

Education and experience sufficient for the rigors of the position.Examples include a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institutionand two years related work experience; or, Associate’s Degree andthree years related work experience, or High School Diploma/GED andfour years related work experience or equivalent education andexperience that will provide the necessary knowledge, skill andabilities to perform the functions of the position. Previousadmissions and recruitment experience preferred.

Knowledge of: variety of standard administrative and businessmethods and procedures; standard Microsoft Office software.Familiarity with other software such as Access, Publisher,Photoshop, and Indesign beneficial.
Ability to: read, write, speak, and understand English well;operate variety of office equipment; proficient in computerapplications, including word processing, spreadsheets andelectronic mail; multi-task; meet deadlines; strong verbal,organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Hiring range = $57,075.20 - $63,460.80 ($27.44 - $30.51 hourly)annual salary depending upon a combination of education andexperience. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, LifeInsurance, Pet insurance, retirement contribution, tuitionreimbursement, annual & sick time, mental health resources,healthy lifestyle benefits, affordable transitional housing may beavailable to the successful candidate based on eligibility andavailability, relocation if applicable. CMC utilizes a wageprogression compensation model that accounts for a candidate’sskill and experience. Although a salary range is listed, salarywill be set commensurate with the successful candidate’squalifications and in compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal WorkAct.

Position serves as a lead for others in the department.
Successful completion of a background check including motorvehicles records report will be required. Incumbents in thisposition will adhere to all safety and compliance policies of Colorado Mountain College while performing all duties assigned. Mayrequire travel within the college district, altered work scheduleand/or occasional evening/weekend hours.
This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking,standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50lbs. Constant written and oral communication and the ability toreason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work isperformed using a computer and standard office equipment daily anddriving a vehicle occasionally.
