Safety Sensitive Position WC 7520
The purpose of this position is to perform concrete work and assist the welders and abrasive blasters as part of a team in completing work duties and perform construction, repairs, and general maintenance on the Brazos River Authority (BRA) dams. This is accomplished by pouring and finishing concrete; operating concrete saws and jackhammers to remove deteriorated concrete; building and setting concrete forms; bending, cutting, and installing reinforcing bars. Other responsibilities include operating heavy equipment; assisting the welders and abrasive blasters; assisting with scaffold erection and any other duties as assigned.
$21.56 to $27.50 per hour. This is a non-exempt position.

The BRA was created by the Texas Legislature in 1929 and exists to develop, manage, and protect the water resources of the Brazos River Basin. Today, BRA's staff develops and distributes water supplies, provides water and wastewater treatment, monitors water quality, and pursues water conservation through public education programs.
