Zusammenfassung

Bechtel’s Manufacturing & Technology team in Houston is seeking a Field Engineer to coordinate off-site concrete supply, batching, pumping, testing, and documentation for a live API manufacturing facility project.

You will align batch-plant operations, mix-design acceptance, and delivery schedules with project milestones, coordinating with Construction, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, and suppliers to ensure compliance with ACI/ASTM standards and site requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of concrete materials, batch-plant operations, mix-design concepts, and test coordination.
• Ability to coordinate off-site suppliers, batch-plant capacity, and project requirements with ACI/ASTM standards.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate daily activities among off-site concrete suppliers, batch plants, and internal teams to support planned concrete work.
• Manage mix-design submittals, revisions, and acceptance statuses; ensure approved mixes are available for placements.
• Review batch-plant qualifications, calibration, and quality records; ensure production readiness for each placement.
• Develop and maintain concrete supply, delivery, and testing schedules aligned with placement dates and look-ahead plans.
• Coordinate batch-ticket requirements, numbering, distribution, and submission of records for billing review.
• Promote safety through Zero Accident Philosophy and ensure compliance with site safety and project requirements.
