Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Superintendent with concrete specialization for large-scale commercial and industrial projects in the Frederick/MD area. You will oversee all phases from planning to completion, lead field teams and subcontractors, and ensure safety, schedule, and quality standards align with project goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as Superintendent or similar in construction.
• Proven self-perform concrete experience on commercial/industrial projects.
• Strong leadership to manage diverse teams of workers and subs.
• Excellent project planning and execution skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset under pressure.
• Preferred degree in CM/engineering/architecture or related field.
• Certifications in construction safety are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all phases of the construction project from planning to completion.
• Coordinating and supervising the construction process from development through final construction.
• Ensuring activities align with the project plan and timelines.
• Leading a team of construction workers and subcontractors.
• Maintaining safety protocols and quality standards at all times.
• Interacting with clients to explain plans and contract terms.
• Scheduling and coordinating workers, subs, and material supplies.
