Job summary

Pop-Up Talent in Southern California is seeking a Concrete Superintendent to lead multiple crews across several projects. You will liaise with City inspectors and clients, manage scheduling, labor, materials, and equipment, and ensure builds meet quality standards.

The role requires at least 3 years in structural concrete supervision, valid California driver's license, and the ability to pass a physical and drug test.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a Structural Concrete Superintendent.
• Must have experience in the concrete industry.
• Valid California driver's license.
• Ability to pass a physical and drug test.
• Schedule in house labor and sub-tiers.
• Provide look ahead schedules with forecasting.
• Measure and order materials for jobsites.
• Oversee Foreman(s) work, review and implement all project documents (plans, specs, RFI's, etc.), check accuracy and ensure quality standards.
• Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
• Able to work, schedule and communicate effectively with City inspectors and clients.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

JOB SUMMARY:

• This role requires a knowledgeable Concrete Superintendent capable of overseeing multiple concrete crews and job sites as the lead on multiple worksites, taking charge of everything from liaising with City inspectors and clients, scheduling and maintaining labor force, materials and equipment on project sites, to overseeing and ensuring the accuracy of each build. Management of project scheduling using a range of computer and software systems is a crucial part of the role

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
