Job summary

Rick Hamm Construction, Inc. seeks a skilled Concrete Superintendent to lead multiple crews across Southern California job sites. You will coordinate with City inspectors and clients, manage labor and material schedules, and ensure build accuracy and quality.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in structural concrete supervision, strong organization, and excellent communication. This is a full-time, on-site role with early hours and site-based leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Structural Concrete Superintendent or similar
• Experience leading multiple crews on concrete projects
• Strong scheduling and coordination skills
• Knowledge of plans, specs, RFIs and change orders
• Effective communication with clients and city inspectors
• Proficiency in Windows/Office suite and email

Responsibilities

• Lead on multiple worksites and manage site operations
• Liaise with City inspectors and clients to align on expectations
• Schedule and maintain labor, materials and equipment across projects
• Oversee Foremen and ensure adherence to plans, specs and quality standards
• Draft and manage RFIs and change orders as needed

Job Title: Concrete Superintendent

This role requires a knowledgeable and dependable leader capable of overseeing multiple concrete crews and job sites. The right candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering exceptional results. Your Role

As our Concrete Superintendent, you will act as the lead on multiple worksites, taking charge of everything from liaising with City inspectors and clients, scheduling and maintaining labor force, materials and equipment on project sites, to overseeing and ensuring the accuracy of each build. Management of project scheduling using a range of computer and software systems is a crucial part of the role. This position will require knowledge of change orders and writing RFI's.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Structural Concrete Superintendent.
• Schedule in house labor and sub-tiers
• Provide look ahead schedules with forecasting.
• Measure and order materials for jobsites.
• Over see Foreman(s) work, review and implement all project documents (plans, specs, RFI's, etc.), check accuracy and ensure quality standards.
• Write and manage RFI's.
• Adept skills with Windows/Office products including email.
• Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
• Able to work, schedule and communicate effectively with City inspectors and clients.
• High School Diploma or higher.
• Valid California driver's license.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
