Job summary

Pop-Up Talent in Southern California seeks an experienced Concrete Superintendent to oversee multiple crews and job sites as the lead on active projects. You will coordinate with City inspectors, clients, and field teams, manage scheduling, labor, materials, and equipment, and ensure builds meet design specs and safety standards.

The role requires 3+ years as a Structural Concrete Superintendent, valid CA driver's license, ability to pass a physical and drug test, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Structural Concrete Superintendent.
• Experience in the concrete industry.

• Ability to pass a physical and drug test.
• Schedule in-house labor and sub-tiers.
• Provide look ahead schedules with forecasting.
• Measure and order materials for jobsites.
• Oversee Foreman(s) work, review project documents (plans, specs, RFIs).
• Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
• Able to liaise with City inspectors and clients.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

JOB SUMMARY:

• This role requires a knowledgeable Concrete Superintendent capable of overseeing multiple concrete crews and job sites as the lead on multiple worksites, taking charge of everything from liaising with City inspectors and clients, scheduling and maintaining labor force, materials and equipment on project sites, to overseeing and ensuring the accuracy of each build. Management of project scheduling using a range of computer and software systems is a crucial part of the role

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Structural Concrete Superintendent
• Must have experience in the concrete industry
• Valid California driver's license
• Ability to pass a physical and drug test
• Schedule in house labor and sub-tiers
• Provide look ahead schedules with forecasting
• Measure and order materials for jobsites
