Job summary

City of Lincoln is seeking a Ready-Mix Driver in Santa Ana, CA to safely operate a ready-mix truck and deliver concrete to industrial, commercial, and residential job sites. The role supports plant operations, production assistance, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The position requires a valid Class B license with tanker endorsement, 6+ months driving experience, and the ability to work up to 16 hours per day with an 11-hour driving limit.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision while traveling to job sites.
• Effective verbal communication with customers, dispatch, and team members.
• Basic knowledge of concrete products and truck operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive a ready-mix truck safely and efficiently per DOT rules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Inspect concrete slump and maintain mixer quality.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and readiness.
• Complete and maintain a DOT Daily Logbook when required.
• Communicate job hazards to supervisors and safety teams.
• Maintain professional conduct with coworkers and customers.
• Follow Hours-of-Service regulations and limits (11 hours driving).
• Wear PPE at all times.
