Job summary

City of Lincoln is seeking a Ready-Mix Driver to safely operate a concrete mixer truck, delivering to industrial, commercial, and residential sites in the Upland area. The role supports plant operations with production assistance, equipment maintenance, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, monitor concrete slump, maintain equipment cleanliness, and complete DOT logs as required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class B driver’s license with tanker endorsement.
• Minimum 6 months of driving experience.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• Knowledge of DOT Hours-of-Service and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to industrial, commercial, and residential job sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in a timely manner.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and monitor concrete slump and loads.
• Complete DOT Daily Logbook when required and maintain records.
• Follow safety protocols and communicate hazards to supervisors, dispatch, and coworkers.
