Job summary

Tindall Corporation, a leading precast concrete manufacturer, is seeking aQUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR to conduct pre-pour and post-pour inspections and perform concrete testing to ensure products meet shop cards and PCI tolerances.

Responsibilities include inspecting reinforcement placement, monitoring curing, recording nonconformances, and coordinating with Engineering for approvals. Join a team focused on safety, quality, and high-quality structural products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect bed set-up according to shop drawings for proper size and placement of reinforcement.
• Perform concrete testing: slumps, unit weights, air content, release cylinders, 28 day cylinders.
• Set-up steam clocks to ensure proper curing temperature.
• Monitor finishing procedures and note nonconformances; notify Engineering for approval or repair orders.
• All conforming products receive a green tag and non-conforming products receive a red tag; coordinate repairs as needed.
• Document non-conformances and ensure repairs meet Engineering’s requirements.
