Job summary

Tindall Corporation, a leading precast concrete manufacturer, is seeking a quality inspector to conduct pre-pour and post-pour inspections and ensure products meet required tolerances.

The role includes performing concrete tests (slumps, unit weights, air content), monitoring curing processes, and coordinating with the Engineering Department for approvals and repairs. A high school diploma or GED is required, with experience in QC preferred.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-pour and post-pour inspections to ensure concrete members meet tolerances per shop cards and PCI.
• Performs concrete testing: slumps, unit weights, air content, release cylinders, 28 day cylinders.
• Set-up steam clocks to ensure proper curing temperature.
• Monitor finishing procedures in finishing shed.
• Inspect final products and notify Engineering for approval or repair work orders.
