Job summary

MPI in New Jersey is seeking a Project Manager to oversee multiple commercial and heavy concrete projects from preconstruction through completion. You will manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in construction or related field and 5+ years in concrete or commercial construction, with strong coordination and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years as PM/APM/PE in concrete or commercial construction.
• Experience with structural concrete, foundations, flatwork, paving, or sitework.
• Strong understanding of contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and cost controls.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Experience with project management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concrete construction projects simultaneously.
• Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, schedules, and forecasting.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules to ensure milestones are achieved.
• Track material procurement, deliveries, and manpower requirements.
• Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
• Support field operations and work closely with Superintendents to resolve project challenges.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and profitability.
