Job summary

Concrete Placement LLC is seeking a Concrete Project Manager/Estimator to join our team in Michigan. The role involves leading projects from start to finish, performing take-offs from plans and specifications, and developing accurate cost estimates and proposals for commercial concrete work.

You will review budgets, schedule deliverables, and create strategies to improve productivity while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 2-10 years related experience in construction estimating and management.
• Ability to read contract plans and specifications.
• Understanding of concrete scope of work including structural plans and site work.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and architectural plans.
• Self-motivated and organized.
• Meet deadlines with accurate estimates and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from start to finish.
• Understand and perform take-offs from plans, specs and schedules.
• Review projects to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Develop complete and accurate estimates with pricing.
• Generate proposal documents for estimates.
• Create strategies to increase productivity.
• Track estimating results and success rate.
• Support management with project buyout.
• Draft letters of intent, POs and sub agreements.
• Conduct turnover meetings to transfer projects to field staff.
• Manage project submittal process.
• Assist accounting with monthly invoices.
• Oversee day-to-day operations with schedule and manpower needs.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Review and approve project costs.

We are in search of a Concrete Project Manager/Estimator to add to our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee projects from start to finish
• Understand and perform take-offs from the job plans, specifications, and schedules
• Review projects in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
• Develop complete and accurate estimates with all pricings to be reviewed
• Generate proposal documents for estimates
• Create strategies to increase productivity
• Keep track of estimating results and success rate
• Support management with project buyout
• Draft Letters of intent, PO’s and sub agreements
• Conduct project turnover meeting to transfer project to our field staff
• Manage project submittal process
• Assist accounting staff with preparing monthly invoices
• Oversee day to day operations assisting senior staff with schedule and manpower requirements
• Maintain positive and open relationship with customers
• Review and approve project costs
