Rinker Materials in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Production Worker (Concrete) to support the plant operations. You will mix and pour concrete, operate mixers and conveyors, and help prepare forms for manufacturing of concrete products used in infrastructure projects.

The role requires manual labor, outdoor work, and adherence to safety standards, with opportunities for growth and development within a leading concrete products company.

Qualifications

• Read work orders and complex instructions.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work outdoors/open air environment.
• Preferred - experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Preferred - forklift operation experience.
• Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently; heavier loads with forklift/crane.

Responsibilities

• Mixing and pouring concrete.
• Operating concrete mixers, conveyors and other equipment.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas.
• Assisting with transportation and placement of concrete forms/molds.
• Loading/unloading materials and supplies.
• Setting up forms in the production process.
• Handling/moving heavy construction materials.
• Following safety protocols and using protective gear.
• Adhering to quality standards to ensure high-quality products.
• Performing any other tasks as needed.
